sar techWith less than 3 weeks until The 2016 Australian and New Zealand Search and Rescue Conference (ANZSAR); Land, Sea & Air there is still time to register for the Conference which will discuss the issues and challenges in Search and Rescue and continue the support of professional development in new training, techniques and requirements. The Conference will be held at Jupiters, Gold Coast, QLD on 1st June 2016 and will look at; how are advancements in technology changing the way SAR (search and rescue) operations are conducted; how we ensure that people are appropriately trained and have the right skills for all different aspects of SAR and; how will we enhance the interconnectedness between multiple SAR agencies to coordinate the most effective SAR response.

These issues will be addressed as well as the issue of lost person behaviour, their mental health and best practice Crisis Management and Communication Strategies.
